Open BelegNest in your browser at the provided URL. The app works on smartphone, tablet, and desktop.

Click "Sign up", enter your email and a password (min. 6 characters). After registration you can log in immediately.

Enter your email and password, then click "Log in". You stay logged in until you sign out.

Click "Capture Receipt" in the navigation. Choose "Take Photo" for the camera or "Upload Image" for an existing photo. Images are automatically compressed (max. 1200px, approx. 200 KB).

After uploading, the automatic text recognition (OCR) analyzes the receipt. Merchant name, amount, date and other details are filled in automatically. Review and correct the recognized data as needed.

Select one of 14 categories (e.g., Groceries, Electronics, Clothing). Optionally add a note, tags, and warranty duration. Under "Advanced Fields" you'll find payment method, tax rate, and receipt number. Click "Save Receipt".

In the "Receipt Archive" you see all stored receipts as a list with thumbnails. The total amount and count is shown at the top.

Use the full-text search to find merchants or notes. Filter by category, date range, or amount. Sort by date, amount, or merchant name.

Click on a receipt to open the detail view with photo and all data. There you can edit or delete the receipt.

The warranty tracker shows all receipts with warranty duration in three groups: Active (green), Expiring soon (yellow, less than 30 days), and Expired (red). Never miss a warranty deadline.

Export all receipts as a ZIP file with photos and a CSV table of metadata. Perfect for your tax advisor. The export can be filtered by category, date range, and amount.

Create a complete backup of your data as a JSON file. This file contains all receipts and can be imported again later.

Restore data from a JSON backup. Select the backup file and all receipts will be imported into your account.

Click the language icon in the header to switch between German and English.

Click the sun/moon icon in the header to switch between light and dark mode. The setting is saved.
